I discovered Misfits Market on a creative subway ad last year. Their slogan is “always fresh, sometimes normal”. They deliver organic produce to your door, for significantly less than supermarket prices. They source from crops rejected by big retailers because they are too big or too small or irregularly shaped. People have been posting pictures of their oddest deliveries on social media, but I have yet to come across anything unusual (almost disappointing). I get a box of very fresh, seasonal, locally sourced fruits and veggies for 25 dollars every 2 weeks. It’s like having your farmer’s market come right to your door.
